New crafting recipes

If you have a suggestion for a new crafting item, or combo, post it here, if selected, I will include your crafting recipe in the game, and shoot you a free 99 IAP of your choice. 

Keep them reasonable, hover cars, jetpacks, and flamethrowers will be ignored. 

For example, yesterday a player suggested a flashlight duct taped to a helmet.  That seemed almost too obvious, so I included it.

How about a camp? Tent+Tarp+Blanket+Camp stove=Camp? I also had the idea for a torch. Blanket (for burning)+Kerosene/gas can+ Lighter/Matches+wooden post= Torch (Good for lighting strongholds,helps see everything around an area) by the way, so many games use torches. Shall I name a few? Red Dead Redemption, Minecraft, CastleminerZ, 7 Days to Die, etc. I would love to see that in SurvivorZ!

so I figured the dog  could grow up if you feed it every day so I thought about a bowl that could be used to feed and water the dog

wood saw/hacksaw +plywood + nails/screws + concrete(to form it together)= bowl

Nice idea.  Here's an added idea.    Can opener+dog food+"bowl"+dog. Could feed the pup. And maybe if it get the ok.  U do this a set number(up to devs on how manny times u do this) times and it will allow the dog to grow for puppy to adult hunting dog or something along those lines gaurd dog. Ect...

Fortification "Sniper's Nest" = .50 Cal sniper/Hunting Rifle + Reinforced Walls + Lumber + Screws.  Adds an attack bonus to Guards. 

(Enter gun's name here) with mods = (any gun with flashlight) + bayonet/combat knife (already can be attached to certain weapons) + Steel Pipe (suppressor) + water filter (Used for suppression material)

Pipe bomb (either trap or weapon) = Fuse + steel pipe + Matches/lighter + Black powder

Molotov (Weapon)= gas can + blanket + Match/lighter/flare + fishing line/steel wire/zipties/duct tape

Grill (for collecting food in strongholds) = Camp stove + camp stove fuel + Frying pan + Kitchen/combat knife

Communications room (Increased chance of attracting an NPC, but also increased chance of more Rivals and Zed nearby) = Gas generator + Gas Can + Ham Radio + Communications tower (see below)

Communications tower = Heavy Steel (Main tower) + Steel wire (Guide wire) + Steel Wire (power cable) + Security Fence (Keeps Rival survivors and Zed away)

Heavy Armor = Riot Armor/ LVL 3 Body Armor + Kevlar Armor + Zip ties + Duct tape

Tstorm, love the ideas!! Communications room sounds excellent & realistic. Perhaps it should be ham radio/walkie talkie, or mabye both. I think the communications room can coincide with the "find friends" feature that will be implemented.

If you read the vechiles post Ed stated that gasoline would go bad so I have no clue what will happen.
Also heres a suggestion: Gun+laser pointer+duct tape+batteries=laser sight.

Tarp/Blanket/Aluminum Foil (x2) + nails + hammer = covered windows

The windows may be barred, but that won't keep zombies and/or survivors from taking a look inside.  Keeps the light out for sleeping survivors and, at night, helps keep any lights inside the building unseen.


Shovel + Concrete + Fire source (matches, lighter) + Wood (posts, lumber, furniture) = Fire pit

Keeping warm, cooking food and staying out of sight.  Every stronghold/safehouse could use one of these; eventually the camp stove fuel will run out, and survivors will have to cook the old fashioned way without letting everyone know, "Here I am!"


Zip ties + zip ties + duffle bag + bike = Bike w/bag

Considering most people are likely running around with both a duffle bag and bike in their inventory, why not combine the two?  Ask any delivery boy that uses a bike, it makes a difference. 


Armor (shoulder pads, kevlar vest, etc.) + Helmet (motorcycle helmet, riot helmet, etc) + wooden posts + nails/screws = dummy

This stronghold item could have a chance (like the traps) to add an extra survivor (with no weapons) to a stronghold fight.  It would be a small chance, since someone could notice it doesn't move, but if I were running a base, I would move these around every day.  Like an elf on the shelf.

This *might* give the stronghold that extra round it needs to get the real survivors to move up in initiative to attack.  It's not the most impressive item, but it lets us do something with the stacks of armor we don't have any use for. 


Fishing line/dental floss (x2) + Wooden posts + furniture = Alarm wire

Not really a trap per se, but a fortification that helps alert when zombies (or clumsy survivors) blunder into an area.  Kick the wire and the cans, bottles, bells or whatever make noise, and everyone immediately knows something is coming.


Lumber/Steel Plates + nails/screws + binoculars + walkie talkie = Lookout

Give those survivors somewhere to sit and take a lookout on top of your strongholds.  "Yeah, but won't a sniper just shoot him out of the lookout?"  If that sniper is good enough, he'll snap one in your survivor's head when he goes to take a number 2, or when he's wondering around by your uncovered windows.  This is just to give a slight advantage by giving some height and cover to get a good view of the area, not an impenetrable box.


Flashlight + Walkie Talkie + Ham Radio + Furniture = Communication station

Sure, it's nice to talk to new survivors and get them to join you, but how about coordinating the efforts of your current survivors?  Jump on that radio and let Jake across the street at the Tastee Freeze know that some jerk just set off your punji trap and you're going to need backup.  Night time comes, and a couple muted flashes of a flashlight will let survivors know there is someone home without alerting the horde.

Snare wire + gas generator + Jumper Cables (will need to be added) + Fence = Electrified Fence. (Run snare wire through fence and jump cables to either of gas generator and snare wire to conduct a majority of the fence.

Crossbow bolt +  4Xshotgun shell (could be more for a much larger boom) + Multitool + duct tape (would use electrical tape but duct is already in game) = explosive tipped crossbow bolt. (Not deadly but should have similar effect to stun grenade. Same could be done with an actual bow)

Bleach + Soap (dish soap would be best but soap is already in game) + Duct Tape + Water Bottle = poison gas bomb.

Tarp + Shovel + grenade + snare wire = welcome mat explosive. The shovel is reusable, dig a pit the grenade is on the inside of the hole with the snare wire attached to the pin. When they fall in the snare wire lines the bottom of the tarp as support so it pulls when they fall in, the closed area they are in makes the explosion deadly for sure.

Multitool + tools + knife + duffle bag = lock pick set (allows to open locked doors making challenges more versatile now)

Grenade + Grenade + Grenade + dental floss = grenade bouquet

Grenade bouquet + multitool + fishing line + hook nails (would need to be added) = grenade bouquet trap
(The weight from the bouquet would bumped into would cause it to fall activating a grenade. All are held by their pins so that they can fall from a slight touch. The group would make a much higher explosion making it more deadly)

Make sure you put at least 30 points in explosives or you won't be able to disarm them.  :-D
